Plogging Drive

SS Foundation recently organized a plogging drive along the banks of the Ganga River, aiming to clean up the river and raise awareness about environmental conservation. Plogging, a combination of jogging and picking up litter, attracted volunteers from all walks of life who were passionate about cleaning up the river and protecting the environment.

Armed with gloves and trash bags, participants jogged along the riverbank, picking up litter and plastic waste. The event not only helped in cleaning up the area but also highlighted the importance of responsible waste disposal and the impact of plastic pollution on water bodies.

The drive was not just about cleaning the river but also about educating the community on the importance of preserving the Ganga River, which holds immense cultural and religious significance in India. Through this initiative, SS Foundation aimed to inspire more people to take action and contribute towards keeping our rivers clean and healthy for future generations.
